Kostantinos Matzafleris – Piano, Drums

Kostantinos is a professional piano instructor and performer in various styles such as classical and jazz. He holds a position of Director at Church Polyphonic Choir. He is also a composer, songwriter, arranger, producer & audio engineer. In 2007, he was awarded 1st prize at the X.O.N. Greek National Competition of Classical Composition.

Kostantinos began his studies at the Hellenic Conservatory in Greece, and then continued his professional studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music, where he graduated with two Diplomas: ARCT Piano Performance & ARCT Piano Teacher. Following this, he attended the Glenn Gould Professional School of Music in Toronto. Later, he continued with composition and symphonic orchestration at the Municipal Conservatory of Volos Greece, attaining certificates in Classical Harmony, Counter Point Composition, Fugue & Contrapuntal Composition, Keyboard Harmony in Classical & Jazz, and Conducting. Furthering his studies, he has participated at seminars and master classes conducted by great piano performers with international careers.

His love for audio compelled him to work with Studied Production & Audio Engineering and PurMix, collaborating with the best producers in the United States. Over the last 8 years, he has established his own professional recording and mixing studio.

Beyond his years of experience and training, Kostantinos is a lifelong learner of everything relating to music and audio production. His passion for teaching is also connected to the creative mindset perspective that a music instructor should have, in order to find the teaching techniques that works best for each different personality.
