Atefeh Sepehrian – Piano

$50/half-hour, $70/45 minutes, $85/hour

Atefeh is a pianist, piano teacher and music educator, with more than 35 years of experience in teaching piano and music theory. She is also a multi-talented professional, who as a school music teacher and concert band director has taught a wide range of instruments.

She carries a Masters’ degree in Classical Music Performance, majoring in piano from the University of Art in Tehran. She has studied music and piano under the guidance of many renowned Iranian and international musicians, and also has a degree in Dalcroze Eurhythmics from the Royal Conservatory of Music, which is a related degree to Early Childhood Music Education. Atefeh is an RCM certified teacher, and an active member of the Ontario Music Teachers’ Association (ORMTA), Canada Federation of Music Teachers’ Association (CFMTA), and the International Society of Female Professionals (ISFP).

In addition to her extensive musical knowledge of music, she also has an exceptional passion for music and love for teaching. Over the course of her career, she has helped her students to find love for music, and reach their highest potential in music education. Many of her students were successful in achieving numerous awards in Canadian and international music festivals and competitions, and some have pursued their passion to make music their livelihood.

Atefeh’s hobbies include dancing, where she has won numerous awards competing in the ballroom and Latin categories.
